Shipping Timeline
Ready-to-ship items will ship within 4 business days (Tuesday - Friday). All dyed-to-order and/or pre-order items have a preorder window anywhere from 2-12 weeks until it's shipped (not delivered). Refer to the individual product pages for information on our preorder timeline . We do our best to get these items out as soon as possible! Any in-stock items that are purchased with a pre-order item will be held until the pre-order items are ready so the entire order can be shipped together.
All items are shipped via United States Postal Service. Please be sure that the address provided is correct before submitting your order (especially a problem with PayPal). If there is an issue with shipping to your provided address and the shipment is returned to the shop, you are responsible for the re-shipping costs. If the error was our, we will cover the cost. Please note that any non-preorder items that are purchased with a preorder will be held until the preorder is ready.
For domestic purchases, it takes approximately 5-7 business days to receive your package once shipped. For international packages please allow 4-6 weeks once shipped. Mail delays can and do occur. Please contact USPS (usps.com) or your local post office to inquire about any packages that haven’t been received before contacting us. A missing mail search request can be filed here (https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm). We will do our best to look into it, however, Hue Loco is not responsible for any lost or delayed packages.
My Order Isn't Moving
When orders are received, the shipping labels are printed and kept until the in stock and/or items are ready to ship. Please remember that when you receive an email stating that your order has shipped, if it contains a preorder, it will take a number of weeks for any tracking updates to appear. Don’t worry! We haven’t lost or forgotten your package. We are simply working hard to get all preorders dyed and prepared so if possible please wait until the stated waiting period is over before emailing to inquire about your order status.
Tracking & Insurance
Domestic and International First Class Package shipping is not insured. Priority Mail comes with $50 of shipping insurance and is available if your package is 1 lb for Domestic and 5 lbs for International. Tracking within the U.S. is available and will be sent to your email once the shipping label is purchased. Any claims filed for lost packages must be made by the purchaser (usps.com), Hue Loco is not responsible for lost packages or delays.
First Class International mail is not insured nor is tracking available beyond U.S. borders. You can expect an international package to be delivered anywhere from 3-6 weeks once shipped (not ordered). If your package hasn’t arrived after the 6 week point please contact us at orders@hueloco.com. We will do what what we are able.
Claims must be filed by you, the recipient, through USPS. As per USPS guidelines, once the package is picked up by the postal service the ownership of that package is now yours. We have no control of claims filed as we're no longer considered the owner.
International Shipping Rates
International shipping rates to Canada can range from $11.50 - $32.50. All other international orders range from $24.50 - $65. Please keep in mind these are estimated, the final quote may vary.
All international packages are shipped First Class Mail. We do our best to combine shipping on multiple international orders but cannot guarantee it due to the number of packages we ship each week.
All international packages marked as "yarn" and valued at what you paid for your items. We have no control over international customs fees.
Return Shipping
You may return any in-stock item within 14 days of receiving it, all items returned must be in their original packaging and undamaged. We highly recommend purchasing our “Free Returns & Package Protection” option upon checkout. This provides package replacement if your order is lost, stolen or damaged as well as free exchanges, returns or store credit on your order. If you chose not to purchase the coverage, you are responsible for filing a claim on any lost, stolen or damaged packages and for the cost of any return shipping expenses. Returns are refunded once received. Please be sure to look over your item upon receiving it as returns cannot be accepted past the 14 day mark.
Items eligible for return: in-stock speckled colorways, in-stock semisolid colorways, in-stock fall palette mini & 50 sets, in-stock seasonal sets, mini bundles of the month, sock sets of the month, 5 skein fades
Items ineligible for return: preordered collections, ready-to-ship collections, dyed-to-order purchases, all pre-ordered items, sale items, retiring items, holiday themed items, extravaganza items and gift cards
We are unable to accept returns on international packages at this time.
Requests To Combine Shipping
We understand that changes sometimes come up after an order is placed. Once an order has been processed and shipping information has been printed, it can be difficult for us to combine existing orders.
If you need assistance, please email orders@hueloco.com as soon as possible. If your order has not yet been processed, we may be able to help, but combining orders is not guaranteed.
When orders are combined, the intent is to reduce overall shipping costs when multiple orders have paid shipping. Free shipping applies only to individual orders that meet the free-shipping threshold and does not carry over from one order to another.
Because shipping costs are calculated by weight, combining orders often does not result in significant savings. For this reason, we encourage you to take a moment before checkout to make sure everything you’d like is in your cart.
Sales Tax
As a small business we have an obligation to remit annual sales tax to states once we've met their remittance thresholds. If you're being charged sales tax and you previously were not being charged, please assume that we've met your state's thresholds.
